While at the world’s largest payroll company, progressively promoted from Project Director, Mainframe Development through increasing levels of responsibility resulting in Senior Director, Software Development. Directed multiple teams both in the US and offshore that delivered software solutions for over 30 applications on client server, web, and mainframe technologies.  Applications included, Payroll, Human Resources, Benefits, and many others.  Responsible for client communications, client relationship management (CRM) and direct client feedback and support tools and applications.
  • $12M in revenue retained per year, improved client retention and client satisfaction, through implementation of software enhancements designed to provide early warnings of client dissatisfaction.
  • $500K/year in costs and provided a more robust and reliable environment for the Client Services team. 
  •  6,000 associates supported, 18 regional CRM SQL Server Databases consolidated onto a single environment with high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) capabilities.

The Nathan S. Kline Institute for Psychiatric Research is a facility of the New York State Office of Mental Health – one of the nation’s premier centers of excellence for Psychiatric Research.
Deputy Director - IS
Directed a staff of software developers and project managers.  Actively participated in designing and developing the logical and physical data models for a large-scale first-of-its-kind on-line patient care information system for the New York State Office of Mental Health.
  •  Directed the development team that was building and implementing an entirely new technology to the NYS Office of Mental Health, a real time admission, discharge, transfer system using Cullinet's IDMS software and database architecture.
Expertise in delivering patient care, billing, financial, and accounting software solutions for hospitals working for Jones Hosplex Systems, McDonald Douglas Automation (McAuto), Tymshare Medical Systems, and Medical Data Systems.

 

CIVIC EXPERIENCE

United States Coast Guard Auxiliary                                    1986 - Present
Active member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary.   Held various offices and currently the National Staff Officer (DVC-RE) in the Response Directorate as the Division Chief for Operations Projects and Educational Outreach.  At the local level, currently the Past Flotilla Commander of Flotilla 10-13 D1SR, one of the largest and most active Flotillas in the nation, contributing over 60,000 hours of volunteer service in 2016 to the U.S. Coast Guard, the Department of Homeland Security, the Coast Guard Auxiliary, and the boating public.
